Steps to make Pav bhaji:
  1. For the bhaji - cut the veggies (capsicum, cauliflower, potatoes, green peas). Chop the onions finely. Crush the garlic.
  2. Pressure cooker the veggies for 2-3 whistles. Heat a oil, butter in a kadai, add garlic cook till the raw smell vanishes. Add onions. Saute till golden brown. Add tomato puree. Cook it. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, pav bhaji masala and salt. Cook on high flame. Then add the veggies from the cooker. Smash it with a potatoes smasher.
  3. Add water accordingly, if reqd. Allow it to boil/cook till all blend together well.
  4. For pav - heat a tawa, apply butter and roast on both sides till crispy and golden brown.
  5. For onions - chop the onions, add red chilli powder and salt. Mix well
  6. For papad - on a tawa apply butter and roast the papad on both sides.
  7. Serve the pav bhaji and enjoy.
