  1. Take 200 grams flour
  2. Provide 200 mls milk
  3. Get 4 large eggs
  4. Provide Pinch salt
  5. Prepare Vegetable oil
Steps to make Popovers:
  1. Mix together with a whisk the flour, milk, eggs and salt until a smooth batter is formed. Place the batter in the fridge for 1 hour.
  2. After 50 minutes, Preheat the oven to 220°C (420°F)
  3. Put about a quarter-inch of the vegetable oil in each of twelve muffin holes in a pan and place in the oven until begins to smoke
  4. Take out and carefully pour or ladle the batter from the fridge evenly into each muffin hole. (watch for oil splatter!)
  5. Quickly place muffin tray back in the oven and cook for 20 minutes WITHOUT opening the oven door.
  6. After 20 minutes remove tray from oven and remove the popovers onto paper towels.
