- Get Ingredients for yakhni :-
- You need 350 g Beef with bones
- Get 1 Onion medium
- You need Cinnamon stick 2
- Use 2 Bari Elaichi

- Use 1.5 cup Steel cut oats
- Use 1/2 cup Oil
- Provide Onion 1 medium
- Take 1/2 cup Yogurt
- Get to taste Salt
- Use 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- You need 2 tsp Dhaniya powder
- Prepare 1/4 tsp Haldi
- You need 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
- Provide 1/4 tsp Chaat masala
- Prepare Garnishing :-
- You need 1/4 tsp Chaat masala
- Provide 1 tbsp Ginger julienne
- Get Podina leaves as required
Instructions to make Oats Haleem:
- Take a big pot and put all the yakhni ingredients together.
- Let the yakhni cook for 2 hours until beef is soft
- Strain the yakhni and set aside the stock
- Now in a pot add oil and fry onions until golden.
- Add beef from yakhni and cook well. Add yogurt to it and mix well for 5 minutes.
- Add all the mentioned spices and oats and fill up yhe pot with strained yakhni
- Let it cook until oats are fully cooked. You can add more water if needed.
- Garnish with podina adrak and chaat masala.
- Serve hot and enjoy either with just a spoon or naan😍
